Nino Kasradze

Dean of the School of Health

Biography

Since 2023, Nino Kasradze has been the dean and associate professor of the Health School of International University of Tbilisi. Nino Kasradze has a master's degree in epidemiology and is a licensed physician. Her medical-practical work experience is related to the Scientific Center of Clinical Oncology in Georgia and the medical departments of the US State Department in Georgia and Iraq. Within the framework of medical programs of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), she worked in the delegations of Tbilisi, Tskhinvali and Sukhumi in Georgia. She worked in the medical department of the United States Embassy in Tbilisi and Baghdad (Iraq).

Nino Kasradze is the coordinator of the American Heart Association (AHA) International Training Center and an AHA instructor in the following disciplines: First Aid, BLS, ACLS. She is the national coordinator of the Georgia PHTLS program and NAEMT instructor.

Her teaching experience begins in 2018 and is connected to several universities in Georgia. She has participated in international conferences, seminars and workshops.

She has participated in several researches and has published articles in medical journals.

Education:

In 2002, Nino Kasradze graduated from the medical faculty of Tbilisi State Medical University (TSU) and was awarded the qualification of a doctor.

In the same year, she received the state certificate of a general profile doctor.

In 2022, she was awarded a master's degree in epidemiology from the Faculty of Public Health of TSSU.

Tamar Sharashenidze

Deputy Dean of the School of Health

Biography

Tamar Sharashenidze has served as the Deputy Dean of the Health School at International University of Tbilisi since 2023 and became an Associate Professor in 2024. At the same time, she is an invited lecturer at the University of Georgia and the Alte School of Medicine, as well as an affiliated assistant at the Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University’s International School of Medicine, specializing in clinical skills. 

In 2008, after completing a joint training course at Emory University through Partners for International Development (PFID) and USAID, she began lecturing in the Postgraduate Education Program of the American Partnership. Since 2000, she has worked within the Atlanta-Tbilisi partnership, teaching postgraduate continuous medical education courses. From 2004 to 2006, she served as the Deputy General Director of the pharmaceutical company GPG.

She is the author and co-author of six articles and one abstract, with three of her articles published in internationally recognized journals.

Education:

Tamar Sharashenidze earned her academic Doctor of Medicine degree in 2023.

She holds a higher education degree in "International Economic Relations" and was awarded the qualification of General Practitioner in 1999.

Additionally, she has completed various training courses focused on modern teaching methods and evaluation in medicine, clinical skills instruction, and statistical studies.
