Admission Without Passing the Unified National Examinations

Applicants who are eligible to study without passing the Unified National Examinations (foreign citizens, stateless persons, or Georgian citizens who have lived abroad for at least the last two years) will be granted student status in accordance with the procedures established by law.

Eligibility for enrollment in the Bachelor's/One-Step educational programs at the university includes:

a) Foreign citizens and stateless persons who have obtained full general education or its equivalent abroad;

b) Georgian citizens who have obtained full general education or its equivalent abroad and studied for the last two years of their general education abroad;

c) Individuals who have studied or are studying at an internationally recognized higher education institution in another country and have earned credits in accordance with that country’s legislation.

Procedure:

  • Applicants wishing to enroll in the university must submit an application to the university. After establishing the required conditions, the university will make a decision regarding the appropriateness of enrollment and will issue a letter of consent to be submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
  • Upon receiving the letter of consent from the university, the applicant must submit a request to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia for the grant of study rights, and based on the minister's decision, obtain the right to enroll in the university.
  • After the decision of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia is issued, an order will be issued by the rector of the university regarding the applicant's enrollment.

 

Enrollment Conditions:

  • Foreign citizens must provide evidence of their English language proficiency by submitting a certificate confirming at least B1 level (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, UNIcert®, EnglishScore, etc.).
  • In cases where a foreign citizen is enrolling in a Georgian-language program, they are required to take an exam to determine their proficiency in the Georgian language and confirm a B1 level of language knowledge.
  • The university reserves the right to request formal recognition/verification of the applicant’s educational documents, legalization, and/or apostille certification.
